The original and most popular class in the program created by our Dance Fitness Specialist and CEO. 

BOOGIE EFFECT is a unique dance based fitness class, bringing together the heart pumping fun of BOOGIE with the strength and conditioning EFFECTS of dance technique.  We create long, lean, strong and healthy bodies that aren’t just the privilege of the Pros!

With modifications and progressions, this is an inclusive program, accessible to all levels of fitness and experience.

Class begins with a postural ‘Check-In’, moving onto an invigorating warm up.  Then class progresses through fun & energizing BOOGIE intervals before moving onto our ‘Power Booster’ designed to hit a higher intensity.   This rockets the metabolism into over drive.  Therefore you continue to burn calories long after you’ve left class.  We then bring the focus away from the big power muscles and into the deep stabilizing muscles with our conditioning tracks.  Lastly, we finish with a relaxing stretch leaving you feeling centred and recovered… AWESOME!!!


A LOWER IMPACT version of our main BOOGIE EFFECT class focusing on fun, happiness and social connections.

The fun funky BOOGIE tracks allow you to get lost in the moment and enjoy the music & moves.  Our awesome BOOGIE moves get that heart pumping as you groove.  Our conditioning tracks create a more meaningful connection with your body.  And our extended stretch & relaxation to finish class gives you the opportunity to forget about the stresses of the day.  It allows you to engage in mindful breathing, take time for yourself and recover.

Note… there is no POWER BOOSTER in this class.  PHEW!


Building muscle the dancer’s way!

A dance based strength & conditioning class designed by our Technique Specialist.

BOOGIE BODY tones, strengthens and lengthens the whole body using specific dance based technique exercises to build lean muscle.  Importantly, we focus on core strength, mobility and postural awareness. Low impact yet intense, BOOGIE BODY will awaken muscles in your body you forgot you had, leaving you feeling stronger, connected and centered!

This class is mainly mat based and may use light hand weights, resistance bands or pilates balls to increase challenge and activation.

BOOGIE Juniors…

This is a fun, funky dance fitness class for kids.  For kids who love to BOOGIE but don’t necessarily want to learn how to dance.  They get to have fun and get fit with funky dance moves to some of their favourite tunes.  They will get their heart rate up while busting out some awesome moves.  They even get to be Instructor and demo some of their own funky moves. Then we’ll finish with a lovely stretch on the floor.  This includes some mindful relaxation to bring awareness to their body and how they are feeling.

This class has been designed by our Education Specialist.


This class follows the same format as our main BOOGIE EFFECT class.  It gives our young people a chance to exercise and stay healthy in an environment completely tailored for them.  No little kids, no adults to check on them… a fitness class just for them!
